For those appointed to carry out the duties of a Fire Warden or Fire Marshal. Appointing and training fire marshals will provide management with the opportunity to significantly improve fire prevention practices in the workplace. The fire marshal works together with the employer to ensure that fire safety measures and evacuation procedures are in place and effective. As such the fire marshal has a very important role to play in the organisation. The fire marshal works very closely with management, it is recommended that the selected fire marshal be able to communicate effectively with both management and the work force.
